Project description

Prince Rogers Nelson, was a multi instrumentalist, philanthropist, dancer, record producer, vocalist, activist, in fact, we may save time by listing the attributes Prince did not possess. A true vanguard of the music industry, Prince has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and has won seven Grammy Awards, an American Music Award, a Golden Globe Award, and an Academy Award for the film Purple Rain. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, his first year of eligibility.

Illness and Death: A press release from the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office in Anoka County on June 2 stated that Prince had died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl, at the age of 57. Sustained and consistent rumours citing opioid addiction as the precursor to his death  brought about the end of a life that was so influential, so colossal in its contribution to artistry , that it transcended genres, genders, singer-songwriter and even life & death.

Prince, The Artist formerly known as… Will tell the story of this truly awe inspiring character, from where it all began to where it will never end.
